Botoy’s humble beginnings started in March 2000, as a small takeout kiosk beside a church in Cagayan de Oro City. At the start, it sold only 10-15 pieces of chicken and liempo per day.

Not long after, it grew a base of loyal customers who requested that they be able to dine in, and order meals with rice and drinks. It gained popularity within the community, and would often attract a crowd of people to wait around the grilling area at night.

In 2004, with a few company-owned branches already existing, the owners decided to open the business for franchise. Franchising was not yet very popular back then. But the owners saw it as a way not only to grow but to be able to share the good fortune of the business to other Filipinos.

Since then, Botoy’s became the first and the most successful Litson Manok and Liempo franchise in the country.

If I don’t have a location can I still apply for a franchise?

Yes, you may apply, but only applicants with a 15% down payment will be assisted by our locators to find a location.

What is the required lot size or floor area?

A take-out store requires a floor area of approximately 15-20 square meters.

Where will the supplies come from?

All stocks are supplied by Botoy’s facility marinated and ready to cook.
